Since its inception, tomaté! has continued to grow, fuelled by a deep-rooted passion for sustainable, local, and innovative agriculture. Led with heart by two local entrepreneurs in their thirties, the company is moving forward with its expansion and has just reached a new strategic milestone: the acquisition of Excel Serres, located in Saint-Damase, in the Montérégie region.
This move represents much more than a simple expansion. Following three major phases of greenhouse growth since 2019, tomaté! reaffirms its commitment to local agriculture—one that meets the increasing demands of Quebec consumers for flavour, freshness, quality, and traceability.
This new infrastructure will not only significantly increase production capacity but will also strengthen local supply chains, and support even more responsible farming practices.
In a context where food autonomy has never been more important, tomaté! continues to invest in innovation, transparency, and environmental stewardship to build a business model aligned with its core values—investing in flavourful, high-quality tomatoes.
