Our Mission

Tomaté! is the result of hard work and tremendous determination to share our passion for the original tomato and its cultivation to ensure high-quality food, rich in colour and flavour to all of our customers.

Entrepreneurs at heart, we want to redefine the greenhouse tomato industry by combining business and pleasure: we focus on what we call “original” tomato varieties, which are not only succulent but also rich in nutrients, thus providing multiple benefits. We are ambitious pioneers who want Tomaté! to become synonymous with flavour and quality to give the original tomato the prestige it deserves, and to make it easy for anyone interested in the finer things in life to discover.

Both in the way we grow and in the way we celebrate our tomatoes, Tomaté! embodies our values for quality, authenticity, performance, pleasure, and well-being.

Quality

Because we produce exceptional tomatoes. Year after Year, only the best seeds and tomatoes are used. Tomatoes that fail our quality test or are unsuitable for consumption are transformed into compost. Our commitment to quality is also reflected in the strong bonds of trust we built with our customers and retailers.

Authenticity

Because we believe in a transparent approach to our customers and retailers, we understand how essential it is for our customers to know where their food comes from. We prefer to make everything about the tomato, and make its production, and our agricultural practices available to the public.

performance

Because it was no small feat to start growing greenhouse tomatoes back in 2014, armed with only our knowledge of field cultivation and our dream to produce the best tasting tomatoes locally year-round. This same drive has led us to form many partnerships with trusted local retailers and has allowed us to grow our business.

Pleasure

Because we are real nerds for original tomatoes. We value them in all of their forms, and we enjoy not just cultivating but also tasting them. Exploring and celebrating their culinary culture is, above all, a true delight.

Well-being

Because our customers’ well-being is just as essential to us as the Tomaté!’s team. Even more than our tomatoes, each and every member of our staff contributes to the richness of Tomaté! They share their knowledge and abilities with us, helping us to keep our menu fresh and delicious.
