Why is it important for us to grow healthy greenhouse tomatoes all year round, for you, for our children, and for our environment?
We are a young farming couple, born here in Quebec, convinced of the importance of healthy farming to eat and live healthily.
You know, we’ve been growing tomatoes in our greenhouses year-round for 18 months now, and we really think it makes a difference, not just on our plates, but also for our planet.
Well, it allows us to control everything that happens around our plants, and to grow by applying principles that align with our values and illustrate good agricultural sense. We adjust the temperature, manage the humidity, and ensure our precious tomatoes receive the perfect light. All this without having to spray tons of pesticides or waste water. It’s better for the tomatoes, and it’s clearly better for the environment.
Even cooler, growing in greenhouses allows us to offer you fresh, tasty, and nutrient-rich tomatoes at any time of the year. By buying local, you not only help support the local economy, but you also prevent your food from travelling thousands of kilometres before landing in your kitchen. Less transport = less pollution; it’s as simple as that.
